myself, my peers
A computer manual that i helped write has won a Society of Technical Communicators award
for Northern California. In case you’re not a professional writer, the STC part
means top industry recognition, while the Northern California part means the
competition was all of silicon valley.
Keen.
My company won five of six regional awards this year, with my group winning two.
After a decade of solo writing, i’ve joined a worthy team.
Bonus round.
March 24th, the other writers and i get to attend a banquet to pick up our prizes,
which have not been announced, whatever that means—but it sounds good,
don’t it?—and, of course, to receive our coveted STC award certificates,
suitable for framing.
Alas, if only our current projects were so easy...
