Alliance Semiconductor Corporation is a leading supplier of high-performance memory products and memory-intensive logic products targeted at the global desktop and portable computer, data communications, telecommunications and instrumentation markets.
The company manufactures its products primarily in independent and joint venture wafer fabrication facilities using an advanced 0.5-micron-and-below CMOS process technology. Alliance has made equity investments in three 8-inch wafer manufacturing facilities to complement existing manufacturing relationships and to secure future wafer supply. Alliance markets its products through a combination of a direct sales force, manufacturer's representatives and a network of third-party distributors. Headquartered in San Jose, California, the company has grown to include more than 130 employees. Alliance's common stock is traded on the NASDAQ national market under the symbol "ALSC." |
