Maja Barusse could have inherited secular and church power from her father, but instead chose
to weave her own patterns to rule Port Suame from the Church of Brilliance instead of the School
of Wizardry founded by her father.
She has powerful friends and is said to have been a party to the Go Rin No Sho, or five
elemental rings.
